While he expressed his support, he also indicated he was highly concerned about the bill's failure to extend the TANF Supplemental Grant program.

Austin-- On Veteran's Day, Rep. Doggett joined teachers at Eastside Memorial High School in Austin to praise the good work they are doing in the face of uncertainty and change that has become commonplace in Texas schools in the wake of about $4 billion in the State Legislature's budget cuts.
