Immediate Actions to Take if Fraud Has Occurred:
- Report Medicare fraud cases to the HHS Office of the Inspector General.
- Report cyber-enabled crime to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).
- Report a scam to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
- Report a complaint to the Texas Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division.
- Find and report scams to the Better Business Bureau Scam Tracker. Search their database to see if a similar scam has been reported.
