Tour Requests

Due to the coronavirus threat, Capitol Visitors Center (CVC) tours have been suspended, effective as of March 12, 2020. The CVC will reopen for tours on April 1, 2020.
Tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, the White House asks that you please request tickets at least 21 days from your desired dates, but no more than three months in advance. For information on sightseeing and attractions, please visit the Washington, DC Tourism Information page.
The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) notified my office on December 16, 2020, that after consulting with public health officials, the Presidential Inaugural Committee will not hold the traditional mass gathering on the National Mall and attendance at the 59th Inaugural Ceremonies will be significantly limited, due to the global pandemic and the rise in COVID-19 cases. The JCCIC will therefore not be providing tickets to Members of the 117th Congress to distribute to constituents, but instead will make the event accessible to the American people through enhanced virtual opportunities to watch and participate in the inauguration.
