Trump's Budget a Hit List, Not Wish List: Targets Children, Environment, and Patients
Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett (D-TX), member of the House Budget Committee and Chair of the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, released the following statement about President Trump's proposed budget:
"For Trump and his enablers, impeachment shows facts don't matter; the climate crisis shows science doesn't matter; and this Republican budget shows math doesn't matter. Less than a wish list, it's a hit list, with our children, the environment, and patients hit hard."
