Austin, T.X. – Tomorrow, Friday, January 28, 2022, at 1 PM, U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett will join Travis County Judge Andy Brown, Austin Mayor Steve Adler, and other local leaders to announce the opening of a free, federally-funded, COVID-19 PCR testing site at Metz Elementary and share with Central Texas families how and when they can get tested.
This site opening comes after Rep. Doggett, Judge Brown, and others successfully coordinated with HHS Regional Director Sima Ladjevardian and other federal agencies to secure federal support to combat this surge and provide every Central Texan further free testing options.
