Rep. Doggett Hosts Local Taxpayer Advocate Forum

Greater San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President Ramiro A. Cavazos and Vice President C. LeRoy Cavazos will join local Congressman Lloyd Doggett and Nina Olson, National Taxpayer Advocate, for a public forum on Tuesday, August 30, 8:30-10 am at the Maestro Entrepreneur Center, 1811 S. Laredo Street. Ms. Olson, leads the Taxpayer Advocate Service, an independent organization within the IRS responsible for fair treatment of taxpayers. This discussion provides an excellent opportunity to raise concerns with the tax system and IRS customer service. As a senior member of the House Ways & Means Committee, Congressman Doggett wants to hear your ideas about how to make our tax laws fairer and to make our system work better for all.
