New Federal Domestic Violence Resources in this Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Austin, T.X. – OnTuesday, October 12, at 2 PM, Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX), Chair of the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, will join The Hotline and key local leaders in reducing and responding to domestic violence. This will include an upcoming increase in federal funding that Rep. Doggett helped secure, as well as sharing details on a new pilot project. This press conference also recognizes October as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month with updates on the trends seen during the pandemic and the resources available for Central Texans seeking help.
