Chapa Middle School Named "School to Watch" at National Conference

"In 2006, I was glad to be a part of Chapa's Dedication Ceremony, so it is especially fulfilling to see this kind of success from the Cougars," said Rep. Doggett. "Unfortunately, with State Republicans doing all they can do to make this kind of success even harder to achieve through the cut-and-run approach they have taken to the state budget, teachers at Chapa and elsewhere will have their jobs cut out for them. But I know that with schools like this leading the way, we can overcome the roadblocks to helping every student achieve their full God-given potential."
