ADVISORY: Chairman Doggett to Hold Hearing on Affordability, Competition & Access to Medicines in Medicare
Washington, DC — House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee Chairman Lloyd Doggett announces that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on access to medicines in Medicare. The hearing will explore ways that Medicare can encourage affordability, competition, and access to medicines, particularly as patients face a prescription drug affordability crisis. It will take place tomorrow, Thursday, March 7, 2019, in the main Committee hearing room, 1100 Longworth House Office Building, beginning at 10:00 a.m. EST.
