Congress is snapping into action to investigate the shocking assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump by a 20-year-old Pennsylvania man.

Trump was wounded in the attack when a bullet struck his right ear, although he was later released by a local hospital and returned to his New Jersey home. Two people were killed in the horrific incident, including the shooter.

The National Weather Service is experiencing a major data outage that will affect weather warnings during deadly Midwest floods and a widespread heat wave.

Problems began around 5:30 p.m. EDT on Monday and are ongoing, according to NWS.

"The outage has caused impacts to NWS operations, including degradation of forecast and warning dissemination, disruption of data flows, and sluggish websites,” said NWS in a statement. Initial investigations revealed that it was caused by a network hardware configuration issue.

NEW YORK (AP) — Former President Donald Trump is now selling Bibles as he runs to return to the White House.

Trump, who became the presumptive Republican nominee earlier this month, released a video on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday urging his supporters to buy the “God Bless the USA Bible,” which is inspired by country singer Lee Greenwood’s patriotic ballad. Trump takes the stage to the song at each of his rallies and has appeared with Greenwood at events.
