NYT: Immigration in the House [excerpts]

Despite the persistent opposition of both of our Texas Senators reflected in the attached articles, the Senate continues to make progress on comprehensive immigration reform.
Washington—While it was raining in Washington, nothing could dampen the spirit and resolve of all those gathered today to call on House Republicans’ to stop the onslaught of anti-immigrant legislation and pass comprehensive immigration legislation.
